Ajax and Werder Bremen have reached an agreement for the transfer of Davy Klaassen. The final details are currently being addressed and the transfer will be completed within hours. All this reports Fabrizio Romano from Sky Sport Italy on Twitter.
What amount the clubs have agreed on is as yet unclear. Werder Bremen would bet on an amount between 13 and 15 million euros. Klaassen’s return is still dependent on a personal agreement between the club and the player, but the midfielder has already indicated that he does not expect any problems there.
The news follows several hours after Klaassen himself in an interview with Dike parlor had indicated that he would like to return to Ajax. The midfielder played for thirteen years for the team from Amsterdam between 2004 and 2017 and is expected to be able to continue this soon.

The Telegraph following Fabrizio Romano has reported the transfer from Davy Klaassen to Ajax. One speaks of a transfer fee of 11 million euros, which can rise to a maximum of 14 through bonuses. Klaassen himself would have already received a salary indication from Ajax. The amount is said to be less than what the midfielder is currently earning, but he will happily return for it. Klaassen and Ajax would bet on a four-year contract.
