Actress Scarlett Johansson has given the yes-word to comedian Colin Jost. That is confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. Johansson had been married twice before.
Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost got married in an intimate circle last weekend. According to TMZ the ceremony took place in Palisade, New York, USA. The couple also has a villa there. The American charity Meals on Wheels was the first to announce the news. As a ‘wedding wish’ Johansson and Jost call on to support the organization. ‘In these difficult times we have to make a difference for frail older people,’ they say.
The 35-year-old actress met her husband in 2017 on the set of the sketch program ‘Saturday night live’. Colin Jost (38) has been writing jokes for the program for fifteen years and was appointed one of the ‘head writers’ in 2017. They became engaged in May 2019.
It is the third marriage for Scarlett Johansson. From 2008 to 2010 she was married to actor Ryan Reynolds, who now has three daughters with actress Blake Lively. In 2014, Johansson again gave her yes to the French journalist Romain Dauriac with whom she had a daughter in the same year. The couples divorced three years later. It is Jost’s first marriage.
Scarlett Johansson was also nominated this year as ‘best actress’ for her role as Nicole in the divorce drama Marriage story. She broke through in 1998 at the age of thirteen with her lead role The horse whisperer. Later she caused a furore in, among other things Lost in translation and as Black Widow in the Avengersmovies. That character will get his own film in 2021.
