The entire crew of the navy ship Zr. Ms. Zeeland went into quarantine after corona was found among those on board. It concerns 96 people on board. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense confirms reports about this by the AD.

Last Wednesday, two crew members received complaints. They were tested positive for the coronavirus. This happened during a training mission that started on Monday and was planned to be in Denmark and Sweden. When the infections were diagnosed, the commander decided to return to Den Helder.

A third crew member has now also been tested positive for corona. Most crew members are now at home in quarantine, a small number stay in rooms in the naval complex in Den Helder.
