Ambitious Sky Express wants to enter Europe with Airbus A320neo

Of the six aircraft, four are purchased from the manufacturer and two come from leasing company Aviation Capital Group.

According to Sky Express CEO Ioannis Grylos, the introduction of the A320neo represents the next step in the airline’s strategy. With the type, flights must be started to various European destinations, making Sky Express a competitor for Aegean Airlines, among others.

The first A320neo is to be deployed between Thessaloniki and Athens in December, with the first flight to a foreign destination in March next year.

Sky Express immediately uses the A320neo to introduce a new, modernized corporate identity.
