The late Haim Yaakov China Shalom from Beitar was killed when a concrete ceiling collapsed

Severe tragedy: The late Haim Yaakov China Shalom, a 21-year-old resident of Beitar Illit, was killed today (Wednesday) while working on renovations to a third-floor apartment on Zvi Pinkas Street in Afula – after the concrete ceiling in the apartment, which was under renovation, collapsed on him.

Rescuers who were called to the scene provided him with primary medical care and then evacuated him to the Valley Hospital in the city, while performing resuscitation operations.

We are hurting and grieving together with the devoted and dear family – the people of kindness in their bodies and in particular Rabbi Yoel Sin Shalom HiU with the passing of his righteous son Chaim Yaakov zl.

“Our sincere condolences to the honorable family out of prayer and hope that you will not know sorrow and will not add to Daba any more.”
