The Home Front Command will prepare additional meetings as Corona Hotels – Channel 20


In light of the yeshiva students’ vacation from Yom Kippur, and after a situation assessment led by Defense Minister Bnei Gantz, four yeshivot were operated in the format of the Corona hotels, in addition to other yeshivas that will remain to work in this format.

Accordingly, and in coordination with the Haredi desk at the Ministry of Health and the Committee of Yeshiva Heads, the Ministry of Defense prepared the yeshivot for the absorption of patients. The yeshivas have received guidance from the Home Front Command, accommodation will be made there, and they will be provided with food, sacred needs and various means that will enable the absorption of sick students. All this is under the supervision of the Ministry of Health.

The yeshivas that were opened for this purpose are the Yeshiva of Hebron in Jerusalem, the Yeshiva of Chidushei Harim in Tel Aviv, the Yeshiva of Lev HaSimcha in Arad and the Yeshiva of Sheftei Tzadik in Hatzor HaGlilit.
The Ministry of Defense is working to run a number of more meetings in this outline, and in addition, three more Corona hotels will be opened this week, which will allow the absorption of families and individuals, mainly from ultra-Orthodox society.
