Every year the Orange Fund awards the Appeltjes van Oranje. For the nineteenth edition, the fund is looking for projects that help people who could use a helping hand mentally. This year’s theme is mental strength.
The Orange Fund is looking for volunteers who are not professional care providers, but who do offer a listening ear or support in some other way for someone with psychological problems.
To be eligible for an Apple, the project must meet a number of conditions. For example, the project must in any case be active since 1 September 2018, have demonstrable (local) support, bring about repeated encounters between people and be set up for people with a psychological vulnerability or disorder.
Do you know or are you someone involved in such a project? You can register until November 1.
