A shock at Hapoel Petah Tikva. Team coach Amir Nussbaum left his club on Sunday after eight months. The club’s management decided to say goodbye to the coach after the two losses in the derby and CS Kafr Qasem last Friday. In recent times and also during the last game, many fans have called for the coach to resign, given Hapoel’s ability and disappointing results so far this season.

Those mentioned to replace Nussbaum on the lines are last season’s team coach Masai Dego, who was fired earlier this season from Kiryat Shmona, and Ofer Tesalpa, who was fired from Hapoel Rishon Lezion. Under Nussbaum, Hapoel has so far recorded a fairly mediocre season, after 22 cycles, it ranks tenth in the table with 28 points and only seven wins, for seven draws and eight losses this season.
