The transport strike in Turin

Today, Friday 13 December, a 24-hour public transport strike is underway in Turin: the USB trade unions (Union of Basic Unions), UGL (General Union of Workers) and the unitary trade union representation of the transport sector have proclaimed it local audience. The strike intends to protest against a business plan that should restructure the Turin-based transport company, GTT (Gruppo Torinese Trasporti).

To check the status of the service in real time, there are two ways: by connecting to the GTT Telegram channel or through the Moovit app, selecting the city of Turin.

GTT has announced that the service will be guaranteed in the time slots ranging from 6 to 9 and from 12 to 15, while as regards the extra-urban and urban lines of Ivrea (managed by GTT), the guaranteed time slots will be from the beginning of service until 8 and from 14.30 to 17.
