Even Whatsapp will have the Facebook emergency button

Whatsapp will have its function to be used in case of emergency, environmental catastrophe, attacks or crises, so as to inform your contacts about your state of health. It's called Crisis Response and has already been used in over 300 emergency cases in 80 countries. This is the evolution of the Safety Check that was activated two years ago on the Menlo Park social network to share information and trigger relief in dangerous situations. The integration of Whatsapp with Crisis Response will allow the sending of requests and offers of help by contacting directly those who offer or request help by clicking on the appropriate button found on the Facebook post.
More generally, Facebook has expanded the tools related to Data for Good, in partnership with 100 organizations around the world, providing disaster maps to facilitate relief and information on where to distribute material aid. All through anonymous user reports.
