With this message posted two days ago on Instagram, Zac Posen, an enfant prodigy of American fashion who created incredible red carpet outfits – among corsets, taffeta, trains, flounces: mermaid silhouettes haunted stars like Katie Holmes and Rihanna, Dita Von Teese and Sarah Jessica Parker, Oprah Winfrey and Natalie Portman – announced that he had to close his studio.

Born in 1980, Posen is an American of Bohemian origin. He graduated very young at Central Saint Martins, in 2002 he founded his own fashion house. Create the low-budget line ZAC, Posen becomes creative director for Brooks Brothers, designs Delta Airlines uniforms and participates in the Project Runway talent show for six years.
