Generali flies on the stock exchange and touches the highest levels since the end of 2008, that is the last 11 years, after the nine-month accounts but above all after the latest developments in the capital of its first shareholder, Mediobanca, of which Unicredit sold its entire share. The title of the Lion has exceeded 19 euros with operators who are now questioning the possible evolution of the balance of power in its shareholders, in which Mediobanca holds 13%.

Moreover, after the accelerated placement by Unicredit, the Delfin of Leonardo Del Vecchio would have been brought to 10% of the capital of Piazzetta Cuccia, but it should be remembered that the founder of Luxottica is also among the main shareholders of Generali with the 5th % of the capital, approximately the same amount as held by Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone. The nine-month accounts, on the other hand, were in line with the expectations of analysts who saw a net profit up by 2.2 billion. According to UBS, for example, the results of Generali's core divisions have met expectations even though the Solvency weakened to 204% (the Cfo Cristiano Borean specified, however, that by the end of October it had already risen to 209%).
