Telecom Italia, after a subdued start, has put the fourth in Piazza Affari, after details have come out of both the joint venture with Santander and the partnership that will be created with Google Cloud. Securities – as reported by Radiocor – show a 3.6% rise, reaching € 0.55.
Analysts of Equity have recommended a "Buy" on the shares, while underlining that the third quarter accounts represent a weak business in Italy. "There decline in revenues represents an area of attention, which will have to be well explained during the conference call, but we think that today the flow of news on inorganic operations can prevail, "commented the experts.
In fact, in addition to the quarterly report, Telecom has announced a series of initiatives such as the partnership with Google Cloud spin off of data centers and the joint venture which will be created with Santander. It was also confirmed that the process for the potential operation on is going on Open Fiber by Tim in partnership with one or more infrastructure funds, the selection of which is in progress.
"There newco of computing can be enhanced with the sale of a minority to a fund or on the market ", commented Equita analysts who thus take into account" an emergence of significant value for Tim, around at least 10% ".
In the context of cloud computing, which yesterday saw Tim announce a partnership with Google Cloud, Telecom Italia will therefore create a new company that will control its data centers.
