The old Fiat 850 becomes a racing beast with the Kawasaki engine

Uphill races are the perfect setting for discovering highly extravagant modified models like the Fiat 850 protagonist of the video you see below (along the lines of the 1,800 hp Volkswagen Lupo). Of the 850 it has very little original in addition to the bodywork, with the engine which, however, is the real treat: it is in fact a 1.2 of displacement from well 178 hp of power transplanted from a two-wheeled sports car, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R.

The base is a Fiat 850 from 1964

The Kawasaki in question was produced between 2000 and 2006, boosted, as we have already said, by a three-cylinder engine of almost 180 hp that made it one of the most powerful motorcycles in the world of the period.

The basis is that of a Fiat 850, a very successful model produced between the 1964 and the 1973 and fitted as standard with a 0.9-liter four-cylinder engine. We do not know precisely what type of transmission has been used but, listening to the noise, it is certainly a sequential one. This, combined with the engine, allows incredible performance, with this little rocket that shoots out of the corners at impressive speeds.
