TERNA, ECONOMIC ACCOUNTS OF THE FIRST 9 MONTHS OF 2019
Terna's first nine months of 2019 amounted to 1.66 billion euros, up by 60.5 million euros (+ 3.8%) compared to the corresponding period of 2018. The gross operating margin amounted to 1.28 billion euros, up by 48.3 million euros (+ 3.9%) compared to 1.23 billion euro in the first 9 months of 2018. The operating result for the period was thus equal to 842.2 million euros, an increase compared to 830 million euros in the first 9 months of 2018 (+ 1.5%).
The 9 months ended with a group net profit for the period of 552.5 million euros, up 11 million euros (+ 2%) compared to 541.5 in the first nine months of 2018.
TERNA, DEBT AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER 2019 AND INVESTMENTS IN THE PERIOD
Net financial debt at the end of September 2019, it stood at 8.25 billion euros, compared to € 7.9 billion at December 31, 2018.
The total investments made by the Terna group in the first 9 months of 2019 amounted to 670 million euro, up 19.3% compared to the 561.4 million euro of the corresponding period of the previous year.
TERNA, DEPOSIT DIVIDENDING IN NOVEMBER 2019
Terna's management has approved the distribution of an advance on the 2020 dividend (relating to the 2019 financial year); the amount of the coupon was set at € 0.0842 per share, in line with the guidelines of the 2019-2023 strategic plan. The interim dividend will be removed on Monday 18 November and paid on 20 November.
The 2019 dividend advance (relating to the 2018 financial year) was € 0.0787.
