<! – -> FLORENCE – A new, violent wave of bad weather is coming to Tuscany. The unified civil defense operations room issued an orange code alert from midnight tonight to 6 pm tomorrow on the archipelago, in the Grosseto area, in the Siena area and in the Arezzo area. Bad weather also for the rest of the region, where the yellow alert was decreed.

After the brief truce of the last hours, the new storm front will arrive first on the islands and on the central-northern coast of Tuscany with widespread rains also in the character of a storm. In the morning, tomorrow, thunderstorms will spread to become scattered in the afternoon. Late in the evening new showers and temporary blocks arrive in the western areas of the region.

As in the case of the latest alerts, there may be hailstorms and strong gusts of wind with strong gusts from the south of the archipelago. The sea will therefore be rough in particular on the Grosseto coast.

In the Maremma some municipalities have ordered the closure of schools tomorrow.
