Samsung has also begun selling its Galaxy Fold, the world's first smartphone with a folding screen, almost nine months after its presentation. The Galaxy Fold can be booked directly on the company's website, at major electronics retailers or by telephone operators active in Italy, at the price of 2,050 euros. The presentation of the new smartphone had aroused great attention and expectations, but after the first reviews it emerged that the folding screen broke too easily, due to the poor protection of the mechanism that allows it to be closed on itself. Samsung in recent months has worked to better isolate the system and prevent dust and other impurities from damaging it. Several other manufacturers are in the meantime finishing their products with folding screens, but after the experience with the Galaxy Fold many have preferred to postpone waiting for more reliable solutions.
