Roberto Gualtieri, a tobacco shop is rented at the MEF: here is the annual fee, the minister thinks of smoking

Some think of the country and those of cigarettes. This is the case of the Ministry of the Economy which has published the notice of the rent of a room inside the dicastery. So far nothing wrong with that the poster reads like this: "AAA cercasi tabaccheria". That's right, on the MEF website, in the tender calls section The weather noted the following press release registered on November 12th: "It is announced that the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) intends to conduct a market investigation aimed at acquire expressions of interest for the eventual subsequent identification of an economic operator to whom the use for consideration of a state-owned premises located within the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Via XX Settembre 97, ground floor – Scala E, to be allocated to activities of special tobacconist resale".

The space is not at all irrelevant given that it is thirty-one square meters gross in Via XX Settembre. The duration of the concession is far less negligible: whoever wins "the privilege" will have space available for six years at the figure of 7,920.00 annually (based on what was stipulated by the State Property Office and the Ministry of Economy and Finance itself). In summary, 660 euros per month.

Furthermore, whoever acquires the premises cannot change the intended use or make an irregular use of it, as well as sub-grant it all or in part, with or without consideration. Then again: "The Concessionaire undertakes to stipulate the concession agreement with the State Property Office and the Ministry of Economy and Finance. All expenses relating to the stipulation of the concession deed, including stamp duty and registration, are the responsibility of the Concessionaire ".
