Fonseca still leaves Florenzi on the bench
Compared to the trip to Moenchengladbach, Fonseca has recovered Spinazzola and returned the jersey to the right wing instead of Santon, leaving Florenzi still on the bench for the 6th consecutive time. Front, however, confirmed Pastore again, at the 7th race in a row. On the opposite side D'Aversa, forced to give up the injured Karamoh, placed in the middle of the Cornelius attack and raised Gagliolo, preferred to Pezzella from the 1st on defense on the left.
Parma willing but evanescent in the first half
Roma has deceived its supporters, who have come in large numbers to Tardini, immediately touching the target with a header from Fazio. With the passing of the minutes, on the other hand, he was overwhelmed by Parma's athletic freshness which, without creating great dangers, has always kept alert the Giallorossi defense, forced to give up after just 26 'to Spinazzola (replaced by Santon), victim of a muscle relapse. Lopez was called into question on the conclusions of Cornelius, Gagliolo and Sprocati, who entered the final time instead of the injured Gevinho, and then trembled on another couple of potential occasions, previously wasted by Gervinho and Cornelius.
Kolarov stake, Sprocati scores 1-0
Roma gave the intention to do more in the beginning of the second half but first the post on a free kick from the edge of Kolarov and then a parade of Sepe, on the following tap-in of Pastore, denied her the possibility to give the match a different course. Parma closed all the gaps well and just when Fonseca tried everything for him, with the inclusion of Under instead of a tired Pastore, he went on to take the victory. The 1-0 signed him at 68 'Sprocati who picked up a cross from Gagliolo and dumped a nice diagonal left into the corner.
Cornelius closes the accounts at 93 ′
Roma suffered the blow but Parma missed the immediate knockout three times with Cornelius (2) and Kulusevski. The Giallorossi have poured forward more with the strength of their nerves than with lucidity and in the end they have called Sepe three times with Zaniolo, Under and Kluivert from a distance. With Roma all poured desperately forward, Parma opened up before the prairies that the gialloblu exploited at the last minute of recovery (93 ′): Hernani stole the ball in midfield from substitute Diawara and unmarked Cornelius with a strong left at the edge of the pole he definitively ended the challenge, condemning the Giallorossi to their second defeat in three days.PARMA-ROME 2-0
