There are innovations in Ducati's technical structure. This is announced by the same company from Borgo Panigale today.
The R&D Department is entrusted to Vincenzo De Silvio, which replaces Andrea Forni. De Silvio, for over 18 years in the company, started at Ducati Corse and then moved to Research and Development as Engine Technical Director.
Andrea Forni assumes the role of Quality Director. In Ducati for 31 years, always engaged in technical roles, he takes the place of Andrea Gesi: the latter is the Production Department. At Ducati for 21 years, Gesi brings in this role experiences gained in experimentation and vehicle design, as well as in the Quality Department, of which he has been director for the last 8 years. On the basis of his new position, Andrea Gesi joined the Ducati management committee and Ducati Motor Thailand's board of directors.
Silvano Fini, in Ducati for 27 years, leaves the position of Production Director to enter the Supply Chain Department, collaborating with Federico Sabbioni.
Due to this reorganization, the Board of Management of Ducati Motor Holding is now composed of: Claudio Domenicali (President), Oliver Stein (Finance, Controlling and IT), Sebastian Flap (Human Resources & Corporate Social Responsibility), Francesco Milicia (Global Sales and After Sales), Andrea Gesi (Production), Vincenzo De Silvio (R&D) and Federico Sabbioni (Supply Chain).
