Today the council of the Municipality of Milan expressed itself regarding the new city stadium wanted by Milan and Inter in the area of the current San Siro. The verdict is a yes with a dutiful asterisk: as the mayor Sala explains in a note, in fact, the Giunta "has deliberated the public interest in the proposal of Milan Ac and Inter Fc on the San Siro stadium, but other possible works (for example commercial spaces, offices, hotels) will be authorized only to the extent foreseen by the current Government of Territory of the Municipality of Milan ". THE WORDS – The first citizen of the Lombard capital then explained: "On the stadium question we have always moved with transparency and consistency. From the very beginning we had said that we would involve the City Council first and, only after having had the opinion of those who represent the citizens, we would be there hired, as mayor and council, to decide how to proceed. Il Meazza? Our will is to re-work it and therefore we are ready to evaluate solutions that do not provide for the renunciation of the current plant, but rather its regeneration through other functions".
