Metro A blocked due to train failure for 40 minutes 12 November 2019


Metro A stops in Rome. The train block started around 2.15pm on Tuesday 12 November. The news is given by Atac through its official channels. According to the findings, the stop of the journey is due to a breakdown: a broken train at the station Cornelia.

To allow the recovery operations, Atac has interrupted the circulation between Battistini and Ottaviano, in both directions you march. A service has also been activated bus replacement until 2.55 pm when the route has been reactivated.

In dragging the broken train from Cornelia to the depot, another problem: the smoke generated by the rubbing of the iron on the tracks invaded the tunnel of the Spagna station causing its closure.
