"Inter start magistral. Conte knows well that in the Champions …"

The former coach spoke of Inter's performance in the Champions League against Borussia Dormund

First time of high level for Inter against Borussia Dortmund, then the collapse in the second fraction. But it's not all to be thrown out according to Arrigo Sacchi. These are the words of the former coach at La Gazzetta dello Sport:

"Inter lost in Dortmund later a magisterial start: the first 5 ’made the Germans retreat with perfect climbs, furious pressing and quick restarts. But after Lautaro's goal the Nerazzurri contracted, as if they had stolen something. Conte wanted his parents to continue to attack. Good first half for Inter, interpreted with courage and clear ideas: doubling, pressing, collaboration and command of the game have increased self-esteem and created pessimism and problems for rivals. Unfortunately the second half started with the Nerazzurri in a prudent version, with too many men in defense who left the command of the game to Borussia, who thus regained self-esteem and creativity, so much to win then 3-2. I don't know if it depended on tiredness or on a not yet consolidated winning mentality: only Antonio can say it and, as a great coach he is, he knows very well that in the Champions having the game command is synonymous with success. The test can however serve as an encouragement".
