An Indian citizen was arrested at the international airport Indira Gandhi of New Delhi, after using an airline pilot's uniform Lufthansa to avoid long lines and evade security checks, according to the Hindustan Times newspaper.

Rajan Mahbubani, wearing a Lufthansa pilot's uniform, was about to embark on Air Asia's I5-579 flight, which included the New Delhi Calcutta route, when he was stopped by agents of the Central Industrial Security Force.
The arrest occurred after Mahbubani, 48, was reported as a "suspect passenger".

The CISF reported that the man was using the credentials of a fake Lufthansa captain, whom he had obtained in Bangkok, Thailand, and was using them "to obtain the privileges of the airport".
