A 55-year-old cyclist living in Cadoneghe (Padua) was killed in a car accident in Torreglia (Padua). The man was riding, with his racing bike, via Abate Barbieri when he ran into a Nissan van, driven by a 46-year-old from Torreglia, coming in the opposite direction. For the cyclist there was nothing to do, despite the immediate arrival of 118.
From a first reconstruction, according to reports from the Mattino di Padova, it seems that the 55-year-old lost the control of the bike when he faced a bend by falling and then ending up under the van.
On the spot the carabinieri of the company of Abano Terme proceeded with the surveys and the seizure of the vehicles.
