The strike continues: high membership in the province according to the Ascom management group. In some cases inflated prices. "Unpleasant situations: they must be reported"
In the Bergamo area, 60% of the operators of petrol stations adhering to Ascom joined the national strike called by the unions, with peaks of 80% in the south-west areas of the province. A strike, which began on Wednesday 6 November at 6am and will end at 6am on Friday 8 November. Some discomfort is obviously not lacking, as well as the surprises linked to some «inflated» prices. Specifically, a reader has photographically reported and documented to our newspaper a distributor of the hinterland that applied the price of 1.999 euros per liter for petrol, practically two euros, against a usual average of 1.488 per liter in city and provincial distributors .
In our tour of the city, we checked twelve petrol stations, finding only 4 closed ones: all the others, as far as self-service refueling was concerned, did not present any anomalies in terms of prices. Only for a gas station in Via Baioni they differed from the average, but only as far as the refueling was concerned: in this case, the gasoline was at 1.739 euros and the diesel was 1.639 euros.
