Excluding the 488 # 51, Ferrari lost the victory in GTE-Pro

The AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE # 51 was excluded from the standings due to an irregularity relative to the ground clearance.

The disqualification then handed the victory to the Porsche 911 RSR of Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen, who had passed under the checkered flag with a delay of less than seven seconds against the winners of the third round of the WEC 2019/2020.

The Porsche then achieved a double win, with Gianmaria Bruni and Richard Lietz promoted to second place, while to complete the podium there is now the Aston Martin Vantage GTE by Maxime Martin and Alex Lynn.

The height of the Ferrari # 51 was found to be less than 50 mm imposed by the regulation in the usual post-race checks.

The commissioners' report says that the team assumes that something may have been damaged in contact with one of the Porsche's in the race or in the one with the Ferrari # 62, the GTE-Am class with the colors of the Red River Sport .

A further examination of the car, however, excluded the presence of damage and it was also accepted by the team.

The commissioners then explained that "no acceptable explanation was given to justify lower ground clearance than expected", thus confirming disqualification.
