Earthquake, shock strongly felt in Abruzzo

Today, Thursday 7 November 2019, at 01:13 am, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology recorded an earthquake of magnitude 2.8 in Abruzzo, exactly a Balsonaro, in the province of L'Aquila, with a hypocenter at a depth of 14 kilometers. The seismic event was located 66 kilometers south of L'Aquila, 68 kilometers northeast of Latina, 70 kilometers east of Velletri and 70 kilometers east of Tivoli. Also today, at 4.14 am, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology recorded an earthquake of magnitude 2.1 in the district Marche Coast Anconetana (Ancona), with hypocenter at a depth of 30 kilometers. The seismic event was located 17 kilometers north of Ancona, 40 kilometers east of Fano, 50 kilometers east of Pesaro and 82 kilometers east of Rimini.
