Death Stranding undergoes 'bombing review' on Metacritic

Available starting today – November 8 – on PlayStation 4 consoles, Death Stranding by Hideo Kojima is definitely a game destined to be discussed for a long time.

The title has indeed proved to be a victim (so to speak) of a new case of "Review bombing", obviously always on the pages of Metacritic.

Death Stranding undergoes ‘review bombing’ on Metacritic

Based on a Metascore of 83 out of 100 – which includes the judgment of the major international newspapers – the new title of Kojima has a User Score of only 6.2 out of 10. This is to say that a large number of users have decided to reject the game without any objective judgment, falling in the worst case scenario below the 4 threshold.

At the time of writing, 1,037 positive and 749 negative "reviews" are included.

It is not clear if the situation is destined to improve in the coming weeks, when perhaps most of the users – the one without prejudice and with the game in their hands – will decide to give an honest vote to Kojima's game.

We also remember that, for the debut of the title in the shops, Sony Interactive released the trailer with comments from the Italian press (including obviously the quota of the editorial staff of SpazioGames).
