    (post_content) => Skoda announces the opening of the orders of Ladder in the powered version a methane, with the efficient 1.0 G-TEC engine.

The new-generation compact sedan of the Czech brand, thanks to the 13.8 kg capacity of the three cylinders mounted under the floor, offers a range of up to 410 kilometers in natural gas, to which is added the 9 liters of petrol in the secondary tank. The first deliveries of the Skoda Scala 1.0 G-TEC are scheduled for February 2020.

Reduced emissions and lower costs

There Skoda Scale 1.0 G-TEC it is equipped with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo engine that delivers 90 hp and 160 Nm of maximum torque transmitted to the front wheels via the 6-speed manual gearbox. Thanks to the natural gas operation, the Scala 1.0 G-TEC offers lower CO2 emissions (-20%) compared to the analogous petrol engine, in addition to lower travel costs, being able to cover up to 410 kilometers with natural gas at an expense of about 14 euros.

339 liter baggage car

As mentioned, on the Scala G-TEC are mounted three steel tanks containing 13.8 kilograms of natural gas. Should the gas run out, the car automatically uses the 9-liter petrol tank which offers a range of 220 kilometers. Combining the two types of power supply, the overall range of the car rises to about 630 km. Despite the presence of gas tanks, the methane gas range offers a spacious trunk with a load capacity ranging from 339 to 1,282 liters.

Two versions: Ambition and Sport

The Skoda Scala 1.0 G-TEC is offered in the Ambition and Sport versions, with the car maintaining the complete active safety equipment available for petrol and diesel engines. The standard equipment of the methane scale therefore includes Level 2 assisted driving systems, including ACC for maintaining the safety distance up to 210 km / h, Lane Assistant for active lane maintenance, Front Assistant with City Emergency Brake and pedestrian recognition and headlights with LED headlights.

Discounted price during launch

The list of Skoda Scala 1.0 G-TEC starts from 22.280 euros but in the launch phase the Ambition version is proposed at a promotional price of 17.800 euros.
