At least according to what revealed by Dagospia that, considering the low share recorded by Adrian in the first episode, he had feared fast closing of the show. "After last night's floppone – it was read on the portal of Roberto D’Agostino -, Mediaset is planning to reduce the episodes of the Molleggiato precooked show to 3, at most 4 (out of the 5 planned).
A hypothesis promptly denied by the Biscione in these hours. "Celentano is back and has enlightened Canale 5 with his energy, his talent, his personality – explained Giancarlo Scheri, director of Canale 5 -. Among his shows, "Adrian Live – This is the story …" stands out among the most iconoclastic and visionary, and adds to the many firsts of an artist who has always anticipated times and fashions (…) An unprecedented melting pot that made Adrian Live a great show. An event that the Mediaset flagship network proudly presented to its public ”.
It therefore seems that Mediaset, despite the low ratings, is not willing to reduce Adrian which will air for four more episodes as expected. The first appointment did not achieve the desired results despite the attempt of Celentano to revolutionize the show. The presence of some big names in television (Gerry Scotti, Paolo Bonolis, Piero Chiambretti, Massimo Giletti and Carlo Conti), the duet with Ligabue and the monologue of Alessio Boni, they failed to convince the public.
The Molleggiato formula, between long pauses, twists and speeches that make you think, did not like. The viewers have not forgiven Celentano the accusations made by the direct and the threat to leave (later not respected) after no one, or almost, had managed to understand the meaning of Adrian.
