The two qualifying rounds and the regulation
The eight players were divided into two groups of four, based on the draws that took place on November 5th: on one side the group "Agassi" with Rafael Nadal (seeded number 1), Daniil Medvedev (4), Stefanos Tsitsipas (6) and Alexander Zverev (7). On the other hand the group "Borg" with Novak Djokovic (2), Roger Federer (3), Dominic Thiem (5) and Matteo Berrettini (8). The first two of each group will have access to the final phase, with the semi-finals crossed and the final.
Atp Finals, bookmakers' forecasts
According to the bettors the big favorite for the final victory is Novak Djokovic, despite having just lost the top of the standings for the benefit of Rafael Nadal. The Serbian is quoted at 1.90. Behind him Roger Federer to 5. The Spaniard – who is not one hundred percent physically and does not have a good tradition at the Finals (the only big tournament to have never won) – is quoted at 6, exactly against Daniil Medvedev.
Behind them, in order there are Stefanos Tsitsipas (a 10), the winner of the 2018 edition Alexander Zverev (a 12), the Austrian Dominci Thiem (to 15) and ours Matteo Berrettini at 25.
