Victim of a muscle strain in the thigh August 25 after an acceleration at PSG-Toulouse, Kylian Mbappe has not played much since: 30 minutes on 28 September in Bordeaux, 29 against Galatasaray on 1 October. He had to give up PSG-Angers as well as the two international meetings of the team of France, in Iceland and against Turkey, this Monday, October 14th.
But this rest of a fortnight seems to have allowed the complete healing of his left thigh. Unless setbacks or unforeseen, Kylian Mbappe will be able to start Bruges-PSG on October 22 in Bruges, third game of the group phase of the Champions League. For the moment, Paris is flawless with two victories against Real Madrid and Galatasaray.
Imminent return to training
In view of this outing in Belgium, the staff of PSG plans a return to the competition of the striker Friday in Nice (20:45). For now, it is impossible to determine whether the former Monegasque will be able to start or will only come into play.
Mbappe trained twice in the group Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 October (Note: races, change of direction, shots on goal) before being made available to his club. Since then, he has not participated in the reduced sessions of the Parisian club (Editor's note: the workforce is relieved of its internationals)who has just given them three days off from Friday to Sunday. The recovery is for this Monday. If all goes well, it will bring the French prodigy closer to an imminent return to the football lawns.
