The new major release of Xiaomi's software interface is expected to come out on Oct. 16, according to the official account of the brand in India.
If everyone remembers the announcement of Mi Mix Alpha on September 24, it is also this day that Xiaomi has unveiled MIUI 11, the new version of its software interface developed for Android. At that time, the brand had promised a deployment by early November, and we now know a date more precise.
Launch on October 16th
The account MIUI India on Twitter suggests, in a barely disguised manner, that the launch of MIUI 11 will take place on October 16, 2019. Xiaomi is planning a conference in India the same day, or the brand is expected to launch the Redmi Note 8 Pro in this market.

An interface independent of Android 10
It must be remembered that unlike its direct competitors, Xiaomi makes a separation between the version of its interface and the underlying Android version. Thus, smartphones will continue to run Android 8.0 Oreo or Android 9.0 Pie, even after the update to MIUI 11.
We can note that some of the novelties of MIUI 11, such as the arrival of the dark theme, are also novelties introduced natively with Android 10. MIUI 11 offers a visual redesign of some menus, but also a new screen always on and d other novelties.
See you on October 16th to learn more about the final release schedule for the update.
