The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and the Green and Digital Economy, in charge of quality control at the Tangier Med port, in coordination with the customs authorities, announced on Thursday seized a batch of 192,000 phone chargers mobile devices that do not comply with safety standards.

A statement from the ministry, sent to Yabiladi, explains that this batch consists of seven brands. Samples were examined by an accredited laboratory, which confirmed that these accessories do not meet all safety standards and thus threaten the safety of citizens.

Since the beginning of this year, more than 748,500 shippers have been seized at the port level. The services in charge of the control took measures necessary to prevent the entry of these loaders on the Moroccan market, the statement concludes.
