In July of next year, the Italian version of the most famous model of the Turin-based company will arrive at Italian Fiat dealerships: 500e.
In a period of large investments by FCA the good news regarding the could not be missing step ahead of the company towards electrification. In fact, we are talking about the small zero-emission market, so much awaited by many buyers that it will reach the market at the beginning of next summer. Give her official FCA confirmations arrived, it also emerges that the production of the 500e will be carried out at the Mirafiori headquarters, whose numbers refer to about 80,000 copies a year.
Let us not forget that in the Fiat "electrification" program, the 500e is the host in the investment plan for Italian production 2019/21 amounting to 5 billion euros. In any case, the production of 80,000 vehicles per year will leave room for the production of 500 Giardiniera which probably will replace the current 500L.
It's not over here. In fact, along with the formalization of the arrival date on the Fiat 500e market, further important novelties arrive. FCA has in fact in store the presentation of the new hybrid Jeep models the production of which will be in the factories of Melfi. There is still little information on production at the site of Pomigliano d'Arco, which will be the place of production of the C-Suv Alfa Romeo (Tonale) following the decision of one billion euro investment by FCA.
If the announced schedule will be respected, next summer the small Fiat will be able to give confirmation of the will of the company to continue on the "path" of zero-emission models.
