Precautionary measure suspends assembly of Fedeguayas | Other Sports | sports


Fifteen sports entities affiliated to the Guayas Sports Federation (Fedeguayas) yesterday presented a protective action with precautionary measures to suspend the Ordinary General Assembly to elect the leaders who will be part of the board of the Fedeguayas.

Representatives of the sports associations of practical shooting, volleyball, athletics, billiards, table tennis, cycling, motorcycling, rowing, taekwondo, karate, weightlifting, the Simón Bolívar Cantonal League, El Triunfo and Colimes, in addition to the candidate to the board and former leader of Fedeguayas, Roberto Gilbert, requested this resource from the Judicial Labor Unit of the Guayaquil canton.

The measure is directed against Andrea Sotomayor, secretary of Sports; César Tapia, Yodir Barreiro and Corina González, as interveners of Fedeguayas.

The precautionary measure aims to suspend “the Ordinary General Assembly convened by César Tapia, on September 16, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., by means of a call dated September 2 to elect the principal and alternate leaders who will be part of the Directory of Fedeguayas, and to elect the secretary ”, in accordance with the statutes of the provincial body.

Gilbert and Roberto Ibáñez, former Undersecretary of Sports, are candidates in elections. (D)
