The Portuguese Juventus player, Cristiano Ronaldo, broke into tears when he saw unpublished images of his late father José Dinis Aveiro.
The player was in an interview on the program "Good Morning Britain" when he was shown the video of Dinis Aveiro where he says he is proud of his son, the clip was recorded in 2005.
"I've never seen this video before … Never. I need these images to show them to my family. I never saw what I have become. You haven't seen me receive my awards," Cristiano pointed out, in tears.
The father of the award-winning soccer player died in London in September 2005, due to problems with alcohol.
"I don't know 100 percent of my father. He was an alcoholic. I never had a normal conversation with him. It was difficult.", he revealed.
The full interview will be broadcast tomorrow on the program conducted by Piers Morgan.
