World Congress of Statistics: HCP unveils its work
The Office of the High Commissioner for Planning (HCP) participated in the 62nd session of the World Congress of Statistics, held in Kuala Lumpur from 18 to 23 August. A strong delegation from the organization took part in this session during which the HCP presented about fifteen scientific works on statistical topics and national accounts. It was also an opportunity for the organization to hold working sessions with representatives of several statistical institutions in Europe and Great Britain to review their cooperation and consider other ways to strengthen them and diversify the axes.

It is particularly important to strengthen cooperation in the areas of digitalisation of statistical production processes, monitoring and evaluation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as innovative approaches to statistical surveys. in this case the family survey programmed by the HCP for 2021.
