Before taking his first steps at Plessis-Robinson (Pro B), the friendly smuggler agreed to put his bags in Reunion. Already invited last year by Maxime Guermeur, the winner of the Estivales des Côtes d'Armor (2016-2017) has a revenge to take today on the Tamponnais which had deprived him of a first success on the beach of Boucan canoe.

What do you remember from your first beach volleyball tournament in Reunion?

"It was great, whether on this site in Saint-Paul or Boucan Canot last year, the organization is every time at the top.I also remember this defeat in the final of the tournament against the brothers Guermeur It was a really good match, even though I'm not totally happy with the outcome (laughs).
You were associated for the first time with Raphaël Attié and Philippe Barca-Cysique last year. Today, you're back with your usual team …
I am a little more known ground. Last year, "Barquette" had cramps in the semifinals, we were not in optimal conditions. Today, I'm with Tom and Robin Riblet with whom I won the Estivales des Côtes d'Armor or tournaments like Pornichet, Annecy or Nice. What is clear is that we did not come to lose.

When did you form this 3×3 team?

It's been six years now. I had already played with Tom when I was 14 years old in Royan, but the first time we were formed, it's a bit of a coincidence. I did not have a team for the Estivales and he had just lost their third man. We partnered, we went to the final of the Summer and since then we spend every summer together.

You have already come, they do not. Have they been difficult to convince?

They used to go to Royan at that time and they hesitated for two, three days. But I told them that we could not miss a tournament in Reunion, and here we are. "
