RYANAIR PROMEUT EDDIE WILSON AT THE HEAD OF THE AIR COMPANY
DUBLIN (Reuters) – Ryanair announced on Friday that it has promoted Eddie Wilson to the position of managing director of the airline, replacing Michael O'Leary, who will become the boss of the entire group, which also includes carriers Laudamotion and Buzz.
Eddie Wilson, who joined Ryanair 22 years ago, was until now Director of Human Resources.
He will take up his new position on September 1 but will continue to report to Michael O'Leary.
The Irish group has decided to modify its structure on the model of IAG, parent company of British Airways and Iberia.
