The top scorer in the history of the Red Devils was strongly criticized by Gary Neville on social networks after his departure for Inter Milan. The former Manchester United player said the Belgian was overweight and lacking in professionalism.
"I'm not going to attack him publicly, we're two adults and I do not need to react negatively, it's a consultant who is paid to say these things, I'm paid to play football" said the striker of Inter Milan.
The Belgian has also tackled his last mixed season with the Red Devils. "Last year was bad, it happens in football, I'm very grateful for this experience at Manchester United even though we did not win anything, I played in one of the biggest clubs in the world, so I will always show respect to them and at the end I thought it was better for me to move forward and take up a new challenge, "Romelu Lukaku concluded.
