It is with great pride that Andrew Scheer, leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, and Alain Rayes, political lieutenant for Quebec, recently announced the candidacy of Pierre Branchaud in the federal riding of Repentigny, in view of the elections of 2019.

Pierre Branchaud has more than 35 years of experience in the field of real estate, commercial and industrial brokerage. He has always worked closely with several businesses and non-profit organizations in the territory.

The businessman has been living in Repentigny since 1988 with Elizabeth, his wife of the last 30 years. He is the proud father of two children, Marie-Pier and Jean-François.

Fishing enthusiast and adept of large green spaces and outdoors, nature is very important to him. His desire to make the leap into politics is not new. His children become adults, he now wants to get more involved and active in his community. He aspires to a renewal in the riding of Repentigny by being close to people and listening to their demands.

"I want a wind of change that will shine a party that unites us instead of divide us. Right now, I'm going to the field to learn about local priorities and work on the real needs raised by voters, "said the new candidate.

"Pierre is an active and long-time businessman in the riding of Repentigny. He is determined to proudly represent his fellow citizens. I welcome him to our beautiful and big team, "said Alain Rayes.

"Pierre has a lot of experience. He is very committed and committed to the economic development of the riding. He is an asset to the party and will be a very good member of Parliament to represent the interests of the people of Repentigny in Ottawa, "said Andrew Scheer, Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.
