(Boucherville) A motorcyclist was murdered late Thursday night in Montérégie when he was shot with at least one shot.
The attack that occurred shortly before midnight when the man, who would be in his thirties, was traveling on his vehicle on Lionel-Daunais Street, in a commercial area of Boucherville, near the Francine-Gadbois Multifunctional Center. .
At sunrise on Friday, no arrests had yet been made. A security perimeter remained in place.
The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) reports that when the police arrived shortly after the shooting, there were only a few people in the area. The investigators were able to interview some witnesses in the hours that followed.
At the end of the night, the investigation was entrusted to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
