Moroccan volleyball players clinch bronze


The women's national team won the bronze medal of the volleyball tournament of the 12th African Games, after its victory (3-2) against Nigeria in a ranking match played Friday at the Bouazzaoui Hall.
The Moroccan volleyball players won the medal by defeating the Nigerians on the score of three sets of two games (23-25, 25-14, 25-20, 22-25, 15-13).

Before defending their chances in the classification match, the Moroccans were eliminated in the semi-finals of the tournament after their defeat on Wednesday against the Cameroonians on the score of three sets of three (16-25, 20-25, 10-25).

Placed under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, the 12th edition of the All Africa Games will take place from August 19 to 31 in the cities of Rabat, Sale, Temara, Casablanca, Benslimane and El Jadida, with the participation of nearly 6,500 athletes.
