The Moroccan novelist specializing in the crime novel, Miloudi Hamdouchi, died Friday in Dar Bouazza, in the vicinity of Casablanca, we learned from friends of the deceased.

  1. Hamdouchi died at the age of 70 following a long illness, the source said.

Miloudi Hamdouchi began his professional life between Rabat and Tangier in the services of the National Security Directorate, where he rose through the ranks to positions of responsibility, before returning to teaching and research and lend to writing.

The late Hamdouchi has enriched Moroccan literature with a dozen works including the novel "The blind fish" which has been the subject of a film adaptation, "Private relationship", "The claws of death", "The St. Janjah "still" Oum Tariq ", as well as other publications relating to the legal field.

Miloudi Hamdouchi strove to solve the criminal enigmas he had to elucidate during his career and was distinguished in the academic field with his studies as a professor specializing in criminal law and criminology.
