Mauri Vansevenant has notably made him talk about his last weeks. He won the Tour of Valle d'Aosta before wearing the leader's jersey on the Tour de l'Avenir. He was finally ranked 6th on the French roads.
"It's great to know that I signed for Deceuninck-Quick Step. It's a great team and I hope I can progress with them, learn their methods and have a good future. I had a good conversation with Patrick", explains the runner EFC – L & R – Vulsteke.
The son of the former pro Wim Vansevenant has been in contact with several teams but has opted for Belgian training. "Mauri's signature is excellent for us", congratulates Patrick Lefevere."We focus on developing young talent and it is one of the best. Mauri's results speak for themselves and we knew that there would be competition for his signature, so we are happy to have attracted him to us. "
