Farid Tir, 29, considered by specialist police as a spawn of drug trafficking in the south of France, was identified as one of two men found dead shot dead this Friday morning in a hotel Formula 1 Pennes Mirabeau (Bouches-du-Rhone). He was released from prison a year ago after serving a sentence for international drug trafficking. The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police of Marseille.
Detonations were heard shortly before 6 o'clock. Both bodies were found by a cleaning lady. According to the first elements of the investigation, two killers returned to the hotel, hooded, a pistol in his hand. An accomplice was waiting for them in a car outside. The track of a settling of accounts, a "vendetta" according to the terms of a police source, is preferred. The Tir family has already lost several members in assassinations.
