Mediocre Lyonnais did well in the second period and drew back ten minutes after the hour of play, conceding a draw against Bordeaux (1-1), this Saturday, the occasion of the 4th day of Ligue 1. A worrying performance for Les Gones before the international truce.

Lyon is doing very well

Thiago Mendes did not finish the match.

Olympique Lyonnais is (dj) in the hard. After two convincing first outings, the formation Rhone, beaten Montpellier (1-0) on Tuesday, enchanted with a new boring performance against Bordeaux (1-1), this Saturday, during the fourth day of Ligue 1.

Completely balads after the expulsion of Thiago Mendes in the second period, the Gones may consider themselves happy to have received a small point following their prochedu nantau return to the locker room.

Depay launches Lyon

Lyon was taking things in hand. On a large hole on the left, Aouar was close to writing a fabulous goal, but Costil made a reflex stop to save his own. Despite the pressure, the Girondins did not let themselves go and tried to produce a game often carting to Kalu, who was worrying Tete and Cornet on his perceptions.

Gns, the Gones finally found the solution on a counter. Perfectly thrown into the depth by Terrier, Depay, left the extreme limit of the offside, escaped on the left before adjusting Costil with a cross shot of the left foot (1-0, 32nd). Enough to awaken fans Lyon, so far noisy. The Bordelais, on the other hand, accused the blow and seriously loosened the treble until the break.

Thiago Mendes expuls, Bordeaux was better off

After the break, Lyon did not offer much and left the Bordeaux ball. Despite their good intentions, Paulo Sousa's men were not really dangerous. They succeeded, however, cause the expulsion of Thiago Mendes, new warned after a foul on Kalu. Immediate sanction, since a few minutes later, Briand cleared after a confused action in the area (1-1, 67th).

At the pick, the OL then suffered innumerable assaults. He needed a Lopes particularly vigilant to prevent De Prville, Briand and Hwang to realize the break. In the last few minutes, Sylvinho's protes have tried to make a hold-up, but the inspiration was clearly not there today. Worrying for Lyon …

The note of the match: 4/10

It was clearly no fun in this game … Few clear opportunities, two teams tense, inaccuracies, this part was very disappointing. The Gones have completely missed their match, especially in the second period, undergoing a pressure standard of Bordeaux, not very effective.

The goals :

– Since his camp, Terrier has a very good pass in depth for Depay. The Dutchman left the offside limit, fake company Mexer before adjusting Costil with a cross shot from the left foot flush (1-0, 32nd).

– After an overthrow of Benito on the left, the ball reaches De Prville at the far post. The former Lille forced Lopes achieve a standard parry, but Briand, alone, manages to adjust a strike shot down (1-1, 67th).

NOTES of the players

Maxifoot gave a rating (out of 10) comments on each player.

The man of the match: Loris Benito (7/10)

The left side left a good match. Very diligently applied, leaving no chance Cornet, it is progressively stronger during the match. It is also on one of its centers that the goal of Briand arrives. Tactically, the Swiss made a good impression. He was the most effective Bordeaux recuperation.

LYON :

Anthony Lopes (6): one of the only Lyonnais at the level. The Portuguese goalkeeper allowed his people to stay in the game in the second period with some nice stops.

Kenny Tete (4): a beautiful design. Holder thanks to defections on the left side, the Dutchman was rough. Put in difficulty by Kalu, it is not irreproachable on the first goal, leaving Benito all the leisure to center.

Jason Denayer (5): strong in the first period, the Belgian was much less brilliant at the return of the locker room. He too caught up in the vortex of Bordeaux, he had difficulty managing his defense in the weak moment through his team.

Joachim Andersen (5): a similar observation for the Dane. First good in the duels, he gradually lost his foot after the break. His positioning has once again left a mark on certain sequences.

Lo Dubois (5.5): rather interesting for an hour on the left side, the international tricolor suffered a lot late in the game. He had trouble projecting himself forward.

Jeff Reine-Adelaide (4): Quickly warned for a foul on Chouamni, the rookie arrives from Angers had experienced a very complicated first. Lost on the field, he failed to bring his technical touch on the rare offensive phases Lyon. Replaces the 64th minute by Lucas Tousart (not not).

Thiago Mendes (4): the Brazilian, placed in front of the defense in the absence of Tousart, worked well in the midfield by collecting many balloons. Unfortunately, he was often carried away by his lan, so much so that he was expelled for two logical yellow cards. The turning point of the match …

Houssem Aouar (4,5): a service without great flavor. And yet, the Lyonnais environment has rgal on certain phases, in particular on the first big action of the match, with a magnificent bore between three players before the stop of Costil. In the second period, he completely plunged.

Martin Terrier (5): surprise holder, the French winger made an interesting copy in the first period. At first shy, the former Lille is gaining momentum, delivering a decent pass in the depth for Depay. But like all his team, he ended up back in the ranks by proposing nothing at the return of the locker room.

Memphis Depay (5.5): the only survivor in attack, the Dutchman took his responsibilities in the first act. Stirring, he never hesitated to organize the game. It is he who puts his team on the right track by opening the mark after half an hour of play. After the break, he had more trouble, not helped by the expulsion of Thiago Mendes. Replace the 87th minute by Jean Lucas (not not).

Maxwell Cornet (4): Prefer Traor, the Ivorian winger has not really been brilliant. Despite a good defensive decline, he has not really brought in his lane, remaining on the sidelines of the game. A real disappointment. Replaces the 77th minute by Bertrand Traor (not not).

BORDEAUX :

Benot Costil (5): the Bordeaux goalkeeper did practically nothing to do outside the beautiful stop on the Aouar shot early in the game. He can be blamed for his approximate placement on the purpose of Depay.

Enock Kwateng (5): Interesting on the offensive phases, the former Nantais, however, lacks concentration on the defensive phases, as he deserted his lane on goal Lyon. An action that manages his game.

Laurent Koscielny (6): solid. The central French defender made talk about his experience to stabilize the rearguard Gironde. We already feel his contribution that will be very important for the rest of the season.

Mexer (5.5): Rather good overall, he is still fbrile on the goal of Depay, clearly lacking speed in his race. The only black spot of his evening.

Loris Benito (7): read comment above.

Otavio (6): a satisfying match. Sober in his raises, well placed, the Brazilian has evolved like an old man. A convincing service.

Aurlien Tchouamni (6.5): the young Bordeaux has left a beautiful impression. Not at all frightened, he broke the Lyon lines thanks to his quality of ball percussion, but also with sharp passes forward. An encouraging score. Replaces the 72nd minute by Yacine Adli (not not).

Samuel Kalu (6): stirring, Nigrian. Bordelais most dangerous in the first period, he never hsit swap to destabilize the opposing defenders. An important activity that has been good for his team.

Nicolas De Prville (6): a globally satisfactory copy for the former Lille. His positioning between the lines and his ability to win to win the Lyon defense have been valuable. However, he lacks success on his strikes, including the one that precedes the goal of Briand.

Eui-Jo Hwang (4): the southern striker was the least successful Bordeaux. Little found by his partners, however, he gets a great opportunity on a long shot before going out. Not enough to shine. Replaced the 74th minute by Yassine Benrahou (not not).

Jimmy Briand (6): the former Lyonnais was interesting. Available and brawler, it is he who galises in the second period on a goal full of opportunism. He kept his head cold in the weak moment known by Bordeaux. Replaces the 85th minute by Josh Maja (not not).
