IMMIGRATION – On Thursday morning, in the province of Fahs-Anjra, near Tangier, two homes were searched at Douar Wadi Ghlala, in the commune of Ksar El Majaz by the Royal Gendarmerie, the auxiliary forces and those of the local caïdat.
Local authorities reported that on the spot were 134 candidates for illegal immigration, from different African nationalities. This operation is part of the authorities' efforts to combat illegal immigration.
The Royal Gendarmerie has opened an investigation into the case, noting that the owner of a house and another person of African nationality were taken into custody for the purposes of the investigation.
